Beebware Limited is a Leicester based software development company specialising in PHP (PHP 4 and PHP5) and Javascript/AJAX development work in the Linux or Microsoft platforms (running Apache or Microsoft Internet Information Services [IIS]) utilising MySQL or PostgreSQL database systems - however, we do have experience working on Solaris systems, FreeBSD systems, RISC OS systems and Apple Macs and developing in Perl, Python, ARM BASIC, C, C#, C.Net and a variety of other languages and technologies.

We believe in quality work that stands the test of time (we have code running which has been in place for over 10 years), usable (one of the projects we have worked on is being used by over 10,000 websites) whilst at the same time being up-to-date and "fit for purpose".

Featured Project: eCommerce Sales Reporting

Pulling in information from a remote Microsoft SQL database Server (MS-SQL) and a remote PostgreSQL database server, this application allowed for online sales figures to be viewed for the two eCommerce systems in operation (previously there was no sales reporting information available) and for the information to be compared between the systems.

Written in PHP, this system utilised the Yahoo! YUI Javascript library to enable online graphs to be displayed and interacted with - along with allowing output in web page (HTML) and CSV (Comma Seperate Value) file formats for importing into Microsoft Excel. The system, due to the confidential nature of the data, had a strict user authentication system which used Active Directory network logons and PostgreSQL's user management faciltiies.
